We are a third generation family farm that has been involved in cow/calf and cattle feeding, row crops, small grain, and of course hay!  In the late 80's I got a liking for the hay business while helping a neighbor in his hay operation.   With the help of a loan from my grandfather, I put together a 348 John Deere baler and Steffan Systems accumulator and we were off and running.  Just recently I made the decision to switch our operation to hay production exclusively, and my younger brother has taken over the cattle herd. This will allow the time to manage our hay meadows for a better end product.

Our Goal

When we were involved in grain production and were striving to produce a better product than my neighbors, it would concern me that when our product was delivered to the grain buyer it would get "lost in the system", if you will.  That won't be an issue when you look to us for your feed needs. Each lot of hay is core sampled with care to ensure an accuarate nutrient analysis.  We rely on Analab exclusively for the results.   This assures that the type of hay you request is the hay shipped to you.
